Technium Recognized on CRN’s 2020 MSP 500 List
(Second Year in a Row)
Technium, a security and cloud operational services company that allows you to focus on business-critical projects and initiatives, is pleased to announce that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company has named Technium to its 2020 Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list in the Pioneer 250 category. This popular list identifies North American solution providers that deliver operational efficiencies, IT system improvements, and a higher rate of return on investments for their customers. These accomplished MSPs work tirelessly to guide their customers and create solutions for complex IT issues.
This annual list is divided into three categories: the MSP Pioneer 250 who are focused primarily on the SMB market; the MSP Elite 150, large data center-focused on- and off-premises; and the Managed Security 100 made up of off-premises-focused, cloud-based IT security services.
“MSPs are the critical bridge for customers looking to assess, implement and migrate their IT and cloud solutions to drive efficiencies, lower costs and secure your environment,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “On behalf of our team at The Channel Company, I want to congratulate the accomplished companies on CRN’s 2020 MSP 500 list and thank them for their commitment to finding innovative solutions that move the IT channel forward.”
Technium is striving to invest in research and development with a focus on building an operational model that creates a tight connection with customers not only through security operations, but also a packaged set of services to provide a broad range of solutions.
“Technium has transformed the security MSSP space by integrating tools, processes and people, as well as partnerships with our customers,” said Michael Joseph, Co-Founder and President of Technium. “Innovation without a system is like science without engineering.”
The MSP 500 list is featured in the February 2020 issue of CRN and online at www.crn.com/msp500.

Deciding between keeping IT security tasks in-house or relying on a partner with specialized expertise, can be compared to managing home improvement projects. There are many things you can try to repair using the Do-It-Yourself approach. If everything goes just right, you might save yourself some money, and hopefully, you’ve got time left over to relax. But what if everything goes wrong?
Take a moment and think about your company’s network as your home. In our houses, we go to great length to secure ourselves—doorknob locks, deadbolts, smart locks. Now look at your corporate network, how do you feel about the front door of your network? Does it give you the same sense of security that the front door of your home does? This is why we need network security.
Once ransomware is resident on a system, it can be a simple money collection exercise or a means to an end to capture intellectual property. Lost intellectual property may allow an organization in another country to leap forward and deliver your discoveries.
